Finally I have my Diploma in applied permaculture design
Well, that took some doing but after six years I’ve finally completed my diploma in applied permaculture design.
The diploma program is run by the permaculture association UK. To complete the diploma you need to produce a portfolio of ten designs that will demonstrate how you develop into a proficient permaculture designer.
My final presentation was at the end of November at Wilf Richards Abundant Earth in Durham, where I gave a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer session with a small group of other diploma apprentices from the local area.

And not much of anything else
With all the work I’ve put into completing my diploma this year 2022, I’ve not had time to focus on growing the Richmond Permaculture network from much more than just an idea.
The Richmond Permaculture Network was a diploma design. The idea was to build the framework this year 2022, which consisted of mainly the IT side of things like the website. 2023 is the time when I add the people aspect into the design.
Now in the final days of 2022, the new year awaits, and I will have much more time to focus on building this network.
